Meet Zita and Dick Sandmeyer

Dick and Zita Sandmeyer have owned property in the San Juan Islands for almost 40 years but moved permanently from Mercer Island to Henry Island in 1996. Dick was with Windemere Real Estate's Bellevue office and Zita taught in the public schools. After retiring from that career, Zita chose to pursue a real estate career.

Dick and Zita enjoy fishing, crabbing, boating, and reading.They chose the San Juan archipelago as an environment in which to relax, rejuvenate and enjoy the natural beauty and diversity that it offers and to imbue in their two children a deep respect and appreciation of the natural world.
